P.R.I.D.E. Youth Programs and events provide a comprehensive approach to educating youth about the dangers of drug use. Its continuum of programs is aimed at reaching students from Kindergarten to College.
P.R.I.D.E. Pals provides a foundation in development for elementary school students, and is the earliest level of P.R.I.D.E.'s continuum of education services. It intergrates fun activites and performing arts with learning about why the youthof Bermuda should choose to be drug-free.
Club P.R.I.D.E. is the second level on the continuum. It invloves middle school students in character and leadership development, teamwork, positive peer power and youth advocacy. Club P.R.I.D.E. offers a clear 'no use' message to their peers, younger students and the community.
SUMMER PROGRAM
The P.R.I.D.E. Bermuda Summer Program focuses on drug education and prevention for middle school students. The camp provides students with a fun, energetic, and creative way to learn about the dangers of drugs. P.R.I.D.E. promotes a "youth on youth" approach by employing high school students as counselors. Students attend courses on topics of drug information, arts and crafts, dance, acting, and martial arts as well as comminty service activities. Each student's experience at P.R.I.D.E Summer Program should be fun and exciting, but also educational.
P.R.I.D.E. Youth to Youth is the third level. This program involves high school students and offers a positive peer to peer setting, using four prevention strategies: (1) Information and Education, (2) Personal Growth, (3) Environmental Change and (4) Drug-free Fun.
YAB- YOUTH ADVSORY BOARD

SPECIALTY TEAM
The PRIDE Bermuda Specialty Team provides students with the opportunity to use their talents to encourage youths and adults from across the island to remain drug free. Students will be invited to audition during a scheduled tryout. All students accepted must be in Middle or High School and must be a PRIDE member.PRIDE'S ADULT PROGRAMS and events provide support for Parents and Adults in the community.
PARENT TO PARENT encourages positive attitudes, positive parenting skills and networking among participating parents and concerned adults. It also offers a solid education in family alcohol and drug issues. Parent to Parent is available for businesses, community groups, schools, churches or anyone seeking answers to today's challenging parenting roles.
LOCK-INS
A Lock-In is an evening of fun, food and information. Students and their parents or guardians are invited to an area school on a Friday evening. The title "Lock-In" means that they are committing themselves for three and half-hours to participate in the evening's activities. Youth and adults are given the opportunity to discuss issues regarding drugs and alcohol.
Dialogue is encouraged in the hope that when they leave the evening they have new courage and confidence that this subject can be discussed. The parents then participate in a session of Parent to Parent. This program raises the awareness of parents regarding parenting through the transition of adolescence and the impact of drugs and alcohol on those times. The young people have a session with Youth to Youth members and a guest speaker. One of the reasons for the success of "Lock-Ins" is that they enable adults and youths to bond, learn, and share things they might have felt uncomfortable discussing before.
